Hardened Servers for Every Analysis
Analyses run on a SAFE, a single-tenant server. Each research customer gets its own. Your data agent connects to it over an encrypted VPN tunnel.
SAFE images are hardened to the DISA STIG for Amazon Linux 2023, version V1R3, with documented deviations. We scan every image with the DISA SCAP benchmark before we deploy it. Our build pipeline blocks any image with an open CAT I (high-severity) finding.
The operating system and the VPN tunnel to your data agent use a FIPS 140-3 validated cryptographic module (CMVP certificate #5438) in FIPS mode.
We have mapped the SAFE to six control families of the NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 Moderate baseline. This is our own assessment, not a third-party audit.
